iPhone: We Can Develop an App For That!
Waracle are proud to announce that the company has been officially accredited by Apple to develop and publish applications for the IPhone. By the end of 2009, there will be 85 million people worldwide who own either an IPhone or an IPod touch. Waracle will develop the platform in order to complement its existing web based business and compete in a market estimated to be worth in excess of $1 billion. There are already a number of interesting projects in the pipeline and plans are already underway to start working on in-house applications.
Waracle will focus primarily on the market for applications development in Scotland and throughout the rest of the UK. Dundee is already a hotbed for developers who create games for the platform with companies such as Digital Goldfish having experienced enormous global success with Bloons. Waracle intend to translate its core competencies in technical expertise and graphic design to create innovative and exciting new applications for the mobile platform.
